Soft Maple: Tends to be light in color with a moderately fine texture.  Soft maple is a  popular choice among customers when painting.  Offers a different look when staining than Sajol and Sapele.

Knotty Alder:  Tends to be light in color with yellow and pink hues.  It's open,  solid knots give Knotty Alder a unique rustic flavor.
